The fifth annual Minnewaska Mountain Bike Festival will be held on May 21st 2011. Rain or shine we will be doing the festival on the 21st. I hate to say this, but if you have rain gear ( a poncho, gortex shell, whatever) you may want to bring it.

Last year we lead over 40 riders on trails they had never explored before.

There will be group rides for bikers of all skill levels. This is a great chance to get a guided tour of parts of The Minnewaska Park you've never been to.

There will be clinics on:
Bike safety checks.
Trailside Bike Repair.
Bike fitting.
Riding techniques.

GUMBA and Fats In The Cats are proud sponsors of this event.
GUMBA does bike patrols on the ridge to help folks a bit further from the parking lot.
Fats In The Cats is a local mountain biking club building new trails and maintaining old ones in the area around the Shawanagunk ridge.
